Saddle clips.-A blank of metal is bent about its middle to form an arch c adapted to lie on the top of the L-pin; the sides c<1> are then bent inwardly, and the ends of the blank again bent to form seatings c<3> for the underside of the L-pin. Projections on the edges of the sides c<1> form supports c<4> for the seatings and for the inner sides c<2>. The seatings c<3> are tapered at their ends ; or they may be taken round to embrace wholly the L-pin. The sides c<1> have serrated surfaces against which serrated side plates p are adjustably held by the fixing-bolt n. When used with saddle-frames of dumb-bell section, the side plates are bent over at their upper edge, and pressed outwardly to form seatings for the washers wand for the saddle-frame.
