Abstract
566. Farnsworth, J. Jan. 9. Carburetting.-Air is forced by a double-acting pump C through a pipe E into oil in a tank A, the carburetted air passing off at D. The pump C may be operated either by a spring motor B or by the explosion of some of the carburetted air produced ; the oil used may be petrol, or preferably a mixture of petrol with other oils. The tank A is supplied with a gauge glass and pressure gauge.
