29,016. Stein, F. P. Dec. 19. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Pipe and rod cutters; taps, stocks, and dies.-A pipe or rod screwing tool may also be used for severing. A guide-nut d, Fig. 1, which may be held by its squared end in a vice, is clamped to the pipe or rod at e, and receives a sleeve b clamped at f, Fig. 4, in a stock a provided with a tool c adjustable at g and clamped at h. For severing, the sleeve b is screwed completely down, the screw f is slackened, and the tool c gradually advanced by th screw g.
