Building wheels.-In devices for placing tyres on the rims of wheels consisting of rollers mounted adjustably on a radius bar pivoted on the hub centre, the grooved rollers f, f<1> have their axes disposed approximately at right-angles. In operation, the roller f takes underneath the tyre and lifts it over the rim, the second roller bedding the tyre into position. One of the flanges of each of the rollers is preferably of less depth than the other. The rollers are pivoted on a sleeve d fixed on the radius bar a by a screw e; or, as described in the Provisional Specification, holes are provided in the radius bar through which a pin is passed, the sleeve being fixed by a nut on this pin.
