Crossings for railroads are provided with pivoted members adapted to be moved automatically into alinement with the track rails upon which the vehicle is approaching, so as to form a oontinuous track. The pivoted members 8 are all connected with cross-arms 4 secured to a shaft 3 so as to be operated by a second set of cross-arms 9. The cross-arms 9 are connected to horizontal shafts 13, which are rotated by the depression of track pedals 14.
