Indicators, station, stopping-place, and like.- Fixed tract contacts mechanically actuate contacts on the engine to actuate miniature signals and electric bells indicating the importance of the next station. A track contact q actuates one or other of the pivot levers a, b on the engine according to whether the next station is a large or small one and actuates both levers at a terminus or junction. The lever a raises a vertically moving rod f, which raises a pivoted indicating- flap g, which also closes the circuit of a bell i, and similarly with the lever b and its attachments. The bells i, k are of different tones, and clockwork devices o actuated by levers l, m from the vertically moving rods register the amount of vertical movement.
