Abstract
6329. Barnes, J., Spence, H., and Spence & Sons, P. March 16. Titanium alkali pyrophosphates, which are soluble in water, are obtained by reacting upon basic titanium sulphate with an alkali pyrophosphate, heating the mixture if necessary. In an example, solid sodium pyrophosphate is added to a solution of basic titanium sulphate. The mixture solidifies on standing, forming the double salt. These double salts are capable of being applied to textile and other substances without injury to their texture or substance.
