Abstract

19,965. Franke, J. Oct. 3. Spanners.-A hollow key, through which a faucet tube may be inserted, is use to turn a special bung cap. The key g, Fig. 1, has a projection g<1> extending into a recess in the cap c. Lugs g<4> on the key are passed through recesses b<4>, Fig. 3, and, as the key is turned, tracks b<3> force it towards the cap, thus compressing a washer h, lugs at the same time turning the cap. In the modification shown in Fig. 6, the key has a socket G<1> to fit the element D, which has two flat sides.
