Sectional and water - tube boilers ; feed-water, supplying.-In a system for heating buildings, in which the combined hot-water boiler and steam generator described in Specification No. 23,310, A.D. 1904, may be employed, the circulation of the water is accelerated and the water is further heated by an injector or steam mixer which injects steam into the main rising pipe. A feed-supplying arrangement of the usual construction makes up from the return pipe the loss of water in the steam generator due to evaporation, the boiler pressure being kept below that due to the difference in level of the water in the expansion tank and in the generator. The method described in the Specification above cited, for converting the combined boiler into a hot-water boiler simply, may be employed.
