Button-holes.-In a machine for cutting or punching button-holes, a number of suitably-shaped punches 15 are adjustably fitted in grooves 14 in T-heads 13 of punch rods 5, capable of reciprocating in adjustable guides 4 and fixed by nuts 9 into a slotted bar 8 operated by levers passing through holes 10. The upward stroke is effected by springs 11. If desired, the punch may remain stationary, and the table 1 may be raised or lowered.
