The cord G is attached to a slipper H provided with a dovetail bolt K, which is formed with lugs L, M, arranged to enter slots in a face-plate F fixed to the sash stile C on the opening side of the window. When the sash is turned inwards, the bolt slides in inclined guides J between retaining-lugs of a fixed socket piece N, which prevents the rising of the slipper.
