27,017. Harris, D. Dec. 12. Joints.-Short wire hooks are provided for connecting the ribs and stretchers to the notch pieces and the ribs and stretchers together, in order to facilitate repair. The hooks E, Fig. 4, are made of elastic or pliable wire, the shanks being soldered into the hollows of the ribs or stretchers. In the attachment of the stretcher to the rib, the hook engages with the ordinary rivet, or the latter may be made in one piece with the metal band F, Fig. 3.
