Corsets; belts.-A corset is composed of a waistbelt a, Fig. 2, and an upper part b which overlaps and slides upon the former part. The waistbelt is tighter than the upper part. To allow of relative movement, the waistbelt slides in a loop d, Fig. 3, of a spring c attached to the upper part. The spring c may be jointed at the point of separation of the two parts, or it may be replaced by a loop of leather or the like. The busk e and the catch f of the belt are smooth so as not to interfere with the relative movement of the two parts. Elastic insertions g are situated at the hips.
