Loom dobbies; change-box motions; shedding - levers.- In the " Holling- "worth and "Knowles'" and similar looms, the connectors a which operate the jack levers b have their forked ends rigidly connected together or closed up by riveting, as at d, or by other means ; or the connector ends may be bent back on themselves and riveted to the main portions, or the connectors may have thickened slotted ends. Proper working of the connectors is thus ensured, a space or clearance b<11> being made in the jack levers to suit the new construction.
