Abstract

21,954. Reese, W. M. Oct. 14, A.D. 1903, [date applied for under Patents Act, A.D. 1901]. Music chord indicators.-A piano or organ chart for indicating the notes of major or minor chords has a plate 20 sliding in a frame 10, which rests at the back of the keyboard. The frame 10 is inclined, and its base has projections 9 which fit over the keys. The upper flange of the frame carries a sharp and flat scale, while the lower flange has a scale corresponding to the keyboard. The plate 20 has a stud 21 projecting at the back and front, which slides in a slot in the frame and can be removed at one point 19 only. The plate 20 carries note indicators for the major chords on one side and for the minor chords on the other.
