Abstract
19,841. Jarvis, E. F., and Jarvis, H. W. Sept. 15. Cooling water.-Relates to the arrangement and construction of dripper surfaces in tower coolers and like apparatus for cooling water by air. The laths composing the dripping-surface are supported by looped wires, Figs. 3 and 7, by hoop iron perforated or provided with ledges, Figs. 4 and 6, or by horizontal bearers or rails d, Fig. 8. Fig. 2 shows on a smaller scale a tower fitted with such laths arranged closely together.
