14,105. Wiechmann, E. June 22. Connections.- Relates to means for connecting electrodes with their leads without the use of screw clamps. The electrodes or their lugs, together with the leads which are laid against them, are gripped between the side surfaces of pieces s formed of insulating- material and connected together by springs f. The clamps and springs together form a single surface d which is carried by the walls of the vessel, finger pieces g on the clamps being so arranged that, by pressing together two pieces situated at the required distance apart, the electrodes between them are simultaneously released. The device is also shown applied to batteries of three large double elements and twelve simple elements respectively.
