Abstract

The blades B and the hub A are divided by the partition C lying in the plane of the fan. The cold water, or steam &c., circulates as shown by the arrows and so cools or heats the air in contact with the blades. The fan may, if desired, be fitted with a surrounding box H containing a cooling or heating agent.
