28,376. Arnold, E. Dec. 24. Tables.-In a folding work bench or table adjustable to various heights, metallic racks h with notches are fixed to the underside of a suitable top a. Two pairs of legs d, e are pivoted at c, and one of each pair is attached by pivots b to the top, while the other carries a pin and fly-nut h to fit in one of the notches in the racks. The notches may be formed with guards to prevent the pins from falling out, and one pin may extend transversely through both plates ; in this case, one fly-nut tightens the whole frame.
