Abstract
26,551. Gossweiler, K. Dec. 4. Embossing.-Boxes of paper or cartoon are made in a double-acting press. The blank shown in Fig. 1 is cut out and radial corrugations are stamped by means of a combination die. Another die draws the box into the shape shown in Fig. 3, and during this operation the cutting and embossing die is preferably raised. The punches in the press are operated by eccentrics.
