Cleaning pipes and tubes; earthenware pipes and tubes.-Relates to drain and other pipes having openings, as shown in Fig. 1, through which a brush may be passed for the purpose of cleaning. The opening is shown in Fig. 4, the cover being bolted to lugs on the side of the pipe and packed with suitable material. When the pipe is horizontal, as shown in Fig. 7, it is provided with a box formed on it closed by the lid r. There is a removable wall s in the interior of the box cutting it off from the pipe, and rollers t are provided for the wire which holds the brushes to run on.
