Gloves; mittens.-A glove, mitten, or gauntlet is secured around the wrist by a strap d which is preferably made of the same material as the glove, is lined with a stiffening-piece, and is sometimes provided with an elastic end-piece. The strap is secured to a plate b, or to the glove, at the point e, and is threaded through a metal loop g at the end of the strap f, then through eyelets c, c<1> in the plate b, passing thence round the back of the wrist and being finally fastened in front by a pressure stud i, h, buckle, or button. The strap d serves also as a support to the wrist of the wearer.
