Loom weft-replenishing mechanism; stop-motions. -Relates to improvements on the invention described in Specification No. 6197, A.D. 1900. The spring lever d<47>, Fig. 1, carrying the feeler f, is itself mounted on a spring lever g, of which the end g<3> beneath the feeler f is engaged by a projection b<2> on the shuttle box at each beatup of the lay, so that the relative positions of the feeler and the front face of the shuttle box do not vary with slight variations in the extent of the beat-up caused by vibrations in speed &c. The extremity d<40> of the lever d<47> normally supports the end of a latch lever d<6>, the free end of which is pressed downwards by a spring, the lever d<6> being carried by a lever d' from the rocking shaft d<1>. So long as there is sufficient weft on the bobbin, the lever d<47> is oscillated sufficiently to release the latch lever d<6>, so that it falls and moves a projection d<7> thereon out of the path of a bunter w<x> on the weft hammer w. During the return another of the weft hammer, a projection w<1> thereon raises the lever d<6>, so that it may be again supported by the extremity d<40> of the lever d<47>. When the weft fails or becomes exhausted, the lever d<6> is operated by the weft hammer w so as to rock the shaft d' and operate the stop-motion or weft-replenishing mechanism in the usual way.
