Cuff suspenders. -A flat piece of metal a, Fig. 1, perforated at each end c to admit of attachment to the inside of a sleeve, has holes b made in it to receive the head e, Fig. 2, of a stud previously fastened to a shirt cuff and split, as at f, to enable it to be held in position after having been threaded. A piece of spring wire g, Fig. 3, recessed as shown and doubled upon itself to form a series of holes i, may be substituted for the piece of stamped metal, Fig. 1, in which case an ordinary stud with a solid head may be used. Fig. 4 shows such a piece, where a loop l takes the place of the eyes k, Fig. 3.
