On to the baffle A is dropped or slid through the opening B an ashtray C, or the ashtray may be screwed in, or the baffle may form the ashtray and be lined with porcelain or metal or be made thereof. The upper part of the bowl may be permanently closed, or be fitted with a dome D screwed or otherwise fitted into the bowl. The ashtray and baffle may be fitted to a projection attached to an ordinary pipe.
