Abstract

20,036. Taylor, T., and Taylor, H. Sept. 13. Double fabrics; figurecl fabrics.-A woven figured fabric for making bed quilts and toilet covers, and for other purposes, is formed with raised patterns having an embossed or embroidered effect. Two sets of warps a, b and one or two wefts c, d are interwoven, so as to produce two fabrics bound together as one fabric in the ground ; in the figures, pockets f are formed, as shown in Fig. 1, and receive thick weft e, which also lies beneath the fabric but is afterwards cut off near the figures.
