Abstract
4624. Siemens Bros. & Co., [Siemens & Halske Akt.-Ges.]. Feb. 24. Cut-outs; switches.-Contacts formed of a number of plates, which are separated in breaking the circuit so as to break up the arc, are formed with extended and thinner peripheries. Fig. 1 shows one arrangement, the contact being built up of a number of plates p having shoulders p<1> and extensions p<2>. The plates may be built up of sections secured together, and the peripheries may be formed of insulating-material, as shown in Fig. 4
