16,603. Marcroft, J. Aug. 19. Bottles and jars.-Relates to adjustable handles for attachment to stone, glass, or other bottles or jars containing aerated or other liquids. A piece of wire a is bent to form lugs or ear-pieces a<1>, a<2>, on which the handle d is pivoted so as to be free to turn. In applying the handle, a ring b is passed over the ends a<3>, a<4> of the wire, and the ends are then bent back over the ring, as shown in Fig. 2, to secure the wire on the neck of the vessel. One end of the wire a may be secured to the ring b, the other end of the wire being passed through the ring and bent back on it.
