Abstract

190,006. Prosser, A. E. Dec. 12, 1921. Lawn-tennis nets.- A lawn-tennis net adjuster consists of a webbing or like band hooked to a ground peg and extending over the top of the net, down the other side, round another hook and thence to a slide on the band. The ground peg d is inserted in the ground in an inclined direction so that the upper portion s lies horizontally on the surface. One end of the band is attached by a hook c to a pin j bridging a U-shaped bend k, and the band then passes over the over the net, down through the shackle e of a snap hook f engaging the hook c, and is finally secured to a slide h on the downward portion of the band. By adjusting the position of the slide h the height of the net may be regulated as desired.
