18,759. Fowler, C. C., and Reason Manufacturing Co. Sept. 18. Couplings.-Junct i o n boxes for concentric and other electric mains are provided with short lengths of cable 4 extending outward for connection to t h e mains. The inner ends of the mains are connected to plug sockets mounted on an insulating-base and projecting through an insulating coverp l a t e. Insulated spiders 5 are provided with plug sockets corresponding to the cable sockets. The plugs 3 are arranged in pairs, and may be provided with fuses which pass over insulating-ridges 7. A coverplate may be screwed or clamped over the box.
