26,610. Crompton, R. E. B., and Pochin, E. A. N. Dec. 16. Globe holders for electric arc lamps, modified from those described in Specification No. 6276, A.D. 1897. Two tubes c, forming part of the lamp frame, extend down to carry an insulated yoke s, which supports an arc - enclosing globe t. The outer globe is carried by a hollow bolt y and a lower yoke z on two rods which slide in the tubes c; the bolt y is threaded internally to engage a screw carried by mica washers in a cap w, screwed on the lower end of the lower carbonholder, which is screwed into the yoke s.
