Displaying.-Stands for displaying articles of wearing-apparel and other goods consist of shelves 7 mounted on supports 1 and adapted to be brought to a horizontal position, as shown in Fig. 1, to serve as a table, or to be inclined to serve as a series of steps or shelves, as shown in Fig. 3. One of the shelves 7 is secured to brackets 3, 4 on the standards, and all the shelves are connected together by links 13, 15, through cranked bars 12, secured to the ends of the shelves and pivoted to the links. The shelves are secured in position by a transverse bar or bolt 19 provided with a thumb-nut.
