Air, supplied by the pipe F, forces the liquid from the storage tank by the pipe B. When the threeway valve H is turned to cut off the liquid discharge, it at the same time puts the pipe B into communication with the pipes I and F, thus causing the liquid in B to return to the tank. Where the return of the liquid to the tank each time the supply is cut off is not desired, as in the case of beer, two valves H<3>, H<4> may be used.
