Abstract
189,749. Agudio, R. E. Nov. 26, 1921, [Convention date]. External spark-gaps. - An adjustable external spark-gap is formed between a cone p and an eccentric p<1> which may be turned by a key E. The eccentric also projects within the lower of a pair of cups q, r pressed apart by a spring: the upper cup emerges into a tube t within which is lodged either the central conductor of a sparking plug or a lead therefor. In a modification, a sphere rests on the eccentric, and may have its upper surface raised into contact with a point depending from the socket for one of the conductors. A number of these devices may be mounted in a single casing.
