A tubular standard A provided with a base or foot has sliding within it a rod B to which is attached a clip D for gripping the pedal or other part of a bicycle. The clips D may be formed, as shown, or may consist of a pair of semi-tubular portions hinged together and fastened by a thumb-screw or equivalent device. A clamping-screw holds the rod B at the required elevation.
