Abstract

16,382. Becker, F., and Wolff, O. July 10. Lubricating fibres.-A soap or cleansing-composition for use as a lubricant for wool &c. for preparing and fulling wool, or as a mordant for cotton and for bleaching dyed cotton yarns, is made by the combination in suitable proportions of sulpho-sebacic acid or sulpho-oleic acid free or combined with an alkali, with sebacic or oleic acid free or combined with an alkali. If necessary, an alkali is added, or an excess of sebacic acid may be used. Several compositions are described.
