Saddles.-The under-frame E is connected at its rear end by a bolt C carrying a roller B, and a similar connection is provided for the frame part D which is attached to the cantle. These rollers are enclosed by a band or tube A of rubber or other suitable material, so that at the rear end the saddle is freely suspended. At the peak the upper frame and the lower frame E are connected by a bolt F, and a pad G of suitable material is interposed between these parts. In a modification, the bands are replaced by straps or loops suitably connected to the rollers and the seat.
