Abstract

188,514. Jagger, E. Oct. 27, 1921. Cradles; folding bedsteads.-A cot is suspended between two side frames comprising legs h, h<1>, and h<2>, h<3> pivoted near the top at K<1> and connected by members d, d<1>. Bars e, e<1> are pivoted at K on the legs h, h<2> and rest on the legs h<1>, h<3>, a stop pin J serving to prevent the collapse of the legs. The cot is suspended from the bars e by springs S which are stretched horizontally between pairs of screw eyes g carried by the base e and the end members of the cot frame a respectively, so that the cot will have a limited rocking motion. A canopy frame L may be pivoted at K<1> and the end frames may be readily folded.
