Clinometers.- In a gradient-indicator of the gauge-glass type for use on a vehicle, the two connections between the gauge-glass 3 and the reservoir 1 are carried from the front to the rear of the dash-board 2 at substantially the same level. The glass 3 is supported by vertical rods carried by a bracket 11 secured to the dash-board, one of these rods 12 being tubular to serve as a return pipe.
