Abstract
185,417. Gerken, P. L. Meurs-, and Naamlooze Vennootschap tot Exploitatie van Octrooien Meurs-Gerken en K. Weiss. Aug. 30, 1921, [Convention date]. Gauge glasses and the like.-In a water level gauge in which the water-level in the gauge is illuminated the lamp is disposed outside the gauge and the light is reflected from an inclined surface placed under or above the glass plate c, Fig. 1, which covers the indicating water column b. The reflecting surface may be an oblique mirror a, or the back of a prism, or the bevelled bottom edge of the glass cover plate c. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) the reflecting surfaces are disposed as shown in Fig. 1 (Cancelled), Fig. 2 (Cancelled), and Fig. 3 (Cancelled); or the inclined bottom surface of the gauge itself may be polished to act as the reflecting surface. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
