180,855. Spahn, C. A. April 20, 1921. Teeth, regulating.-Consists in a method of and means for producing finished models of malformed teeth. As shown in Fig. 8, a wax impression 16 is taken of the jaws and a cardboard mould member 25, properly shaped at its bottom, is positioned on the convolution 18 and held in place by wax 45. A tripod gauge 33 with adjustable legs 43 is placed in the impression so that the plane surface of the head of a screw 35 is horizontal. A glass plate 22 is placed upon the screw head and the upper edge of the mould trimmed off. The gauge and the plate are then removed and plaster poured into the mould which, when hard, constitutes a model of the jaw having a flat top and regular sides.
