Abstract

174,849. Livens, W. M. Jan. 5, 1921. Drawings to Specification. Confectionery and sweetmeats. - A cream caramel or like sweetmeat is in the form of a plurality of layers, preferably three, the middle layer being constituted differently from the outer layers so as to have a different colour and flavour. The thickness of the middle layer may be equal to or less than the thickness of each of the outer layers. The sweetmeat is built up by hand in slab form and is then cut into pieces of the desired shape.
