Abstract

172,456. Isaachsen, I. Sept. 28, 1920. Nut - crackers. - The levers 1, 2 are provided with tapering channels 4, 5 which co-operate to form a tapering crushing - chamber, the axis of which forms an angle with the plane of movement of the jaws. The axis of the hinge 3 may meet the axis of the crushing- chamber at an angle as shown. A spring 6 urges the jaws open and a nut 8 acts as a stop.
