Blocks acting on drums and hubs.- Motor - cycle and other road-vehicle brakes of the expanding segment type are provided with an annular or equivalent spring h arranged in a groove formed in the segments b and also in the pivot c and the actuating-cam e so that it serves both to disengage the segments from the drum a and to prevent lateral displacement of the segments with respect to the cam and pin.
