Fenders; kerbs.-In fenders, kerbs, &c. of the kind comprising a wooden structure 1, 2 with tiles 4 on one or more faces and a heat-resisting lining 5 on the inner face, the lining is formed of asbestos. The inner face of the fender &c. may be of curved form of similar shape to that of the outside portion 2, being covered with or made of asbestos.
