Abstract

166,737. Drinkwater, C. M. April 28, 1920. Luncheon cases.-A case for holding meals for hospital patients &c. comprises upper and lower sections 2, 1 which are detachably lunged together and are formed with partitions to separate the different foods, the meeting faces of the sections 1. 2 being formed with tongue-and-groove joints 8, 9. Each of the sections 1, 2 comprises inner and outer metal walls with a vacuum or insulating-material between them. The lower section 1 contains a removable subdivided tray 14 having a recess 47 for holding butter, and outside the tray are other compartments 40, 41, 42 and pockets 44, 46 for holding a cup and coffee-pots. When the upper section 1 has been raised, it can be disconnected from the lower section by moving it laterally, thus withdrawing the hinge-pins from their sockets.
