Abstract

164,636. Uzzell, R. S. June 17, 1920, [Convention date]. Roundabouts.-Relates to roundabouts of the type in which the swifts 56, Fig. 3, are pivoted at 50 to the central driving-shaft 20 and supported by rollers 46 running on an undulating track 10 so as to rock the swifts. According to the invention, the track 10 is supported by a tower consisting of a lower frame 1 and an upper frame 5 connected bv posts 4. For ease in transport, the tower is divided into six sections bolted together at 3, Fig. 6. The track 10 is secured to the frame . 5 by pine, so that it can be readily removed, and the swifts 56 are held in sockets 53 in a central frame 40.
