Table games.-Relates to apparatus for playing a table game of football of the type which is played upon a board formed with depressions in the centres of which are disposed strikers for projecting the ball over the board, the strikers being actuated from keys controlled by the players. It consists in dividing the board into longitudinal and transverse rows of recessed squares having the differently coloured strikers representing the teams arranged alternately along the rows and operated from keys arranged along the longitudinal edges of the board. As shown, the board 1, Figs. 1 and 2, having a boundary fence 3 is divided into dish - shaped squares at the centres of which are arranged vertically movable and round-headed strikers 8. The strikers are actuated through rods 11 having arms 13 which press against the bottoms of the strikers, the rods being actuated from the keys 9, 10, arranged along the sides of the board. The keys are coloured to correspond with the alternate colours of the strikers and each key is adapted to operate alternate strikers across the board. The strikers are formed with flanges 14 so as to prevent them being forced out of their openings and they are returned to their normal positions either by their own weight or by springs. The goals 4 are provided with goalkeepers 16a which project through slots in the board and are laterally operated by the keys 16 to which they are attached by the rods 18. The game is started by a " kick-off " striker 15 having a conical top and actuated bv a wire 17 which passes beneath the striker and is secured to the ends of the board so that it may be depressed by either of the keys 16 from which the goalkeepers are actuated.
