Time alarms.-In apparatus of the kind in which one or more electric bells are rung at predetermined times, two contacts adjustably positioned on a clock dial are bridged by the hourhand or an extension thereof. In an example, Fig. 1, a pair of contacts 4 on a block 3 slide in a groove 1. A stop 11 is provided to prevent the movement of the block from exceeding one revolution. In a modification, the contacts are rlidably mounted on a circular rail mounted outside the travel of the minute-hand. The hour-hand is extended and bent upwards to make the necessary contact. In a further modification, the dial comprises three concentric parts, the intermediate part being movable and carrping the contacts. A second-hand 14 preferably driven by separate rMchanism, may be used to give an indication at every half-minute or other interval by the arrangement shown in Fig. 1. The contacts are of the form shown in Fig. 2. The part of the hand that bridges the contact-pieces is preferably insulated from the rest of the hand.
