Yarns, beaming; lease-rods.-To facilitate the beaming of warps, the creel frames 1,2, normally arranged in V-form, and rotatable about vertical axes 3, 4, support several creel elements 6, which can rotate about pivots 7 in the creel frames and comprise end pieces and intermediate vertical slots arranged in parallel rows 5, 9, 8, the bobbins being suspended between the slots. The inside bobbins are filled bv the operator, whilst the warp is being unwound from the outside bobbins. The beam is then stopped and after the ends from the outside bobbins have been cut, the creel frames are turned into a parallel position, as shown in full lines, by lever mechanism operated from a wheel 27 driven by a wheel 24 and handle 23. Then the individual creel elements 6, which are stepped at the ends and intergear, are rotated so as to bring the filled inside bobbins to the outside of the creel, the creel frames are next moved back to their V-form, the lease is taken and the ends from the new bobbins are pieced to the ends on the beam, and then beaming proceeds. Pivoted lease rods are employed in these operations. The creel elements are turned about their pivots 7 by bevel gearing operated from a hand-wheel 22.
